VIETNAM ASSOCIATION FOR SAFE WATER AND ENVIRONMENTAL (AWATEN) VISITED AND WORKED WITH VACO AUDITING COMPANY LIMITED

The delegation of the Vietnam Association for Safe Water and Environmental (AWATEN) led by Dr. Nguyen Linh Ngoc - Chairman of the Association. Accompanying the delegation were Ms. Pham Thi Xuan - Standing Vice Chairwoman; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Lai - General Secretary; Mr. Nguyen Van Ve - Vice Chairman; Mr. Nguyen Van Toan - Vice Chairman, Cell Secretary, and Executive Editor of Environment and Life Magazine.

Welcoming the delegation, from VACO Auditing Company Limited, there were Mr. Bui Van Ngoc - Chairman of the Members’ Council; Mr. Bui Ngoc Binh - General Director; Ms. Trinh Thi Hong - Deputy General Director; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Ngoc - Deputy General Director; Mr. Manh Hoan - Deputy General Director and officers and employees of the Company.

Overview of the leadership meeting of AWATEN and VACO

Speaking at the working session, Dr. Nguyen Linh Ngoc - Chairman of the Association said: " Vietnam Association for Safe Water and Environmental is a social-professional organization, the Association is a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations. The orientation of the Vietnam Association for Safe Water and Environmental is to “Bring clean water to the poor, turning waste into resources, and working with the community to respond to climate change”. The Association’s staff includes environmental managers and scientists. I hope that in the coming time, VACO Auditing Company Limited will actively participate in contributing ideas, building a growing Association, overcoming all difficulties to well carry out the tasks and goals set in 2023 and the following years. Especially in the field of “Environmental audit, greenhouse gas inventory, environmental emissions inventory” serves the purpose of comprehensive monitoring and assessment of greenhouse gas emissions and the environment, contributing to the implementation Vietnam’s net zero emissions target.”

At the same time, the Association’s leaders also highly appreciated the Company’s contribution to the cause of environmental protection and hoped that the Company would continue to promote its strength to build a more developed Association.

Mr. Bui Van Ngoc - Chairman of VACO reported the operating situation to the delegation 

Appreciating the results and activities of the Vietnam Association for Safe Water and Environmental in recent times, Mr. Bui Van Ngoc - Chairman of VACO sent his thanks to the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Association for Safe Water and Environmental, looking forward to contributing efforts and intelligence to build and develop the Association in the coming time. VACO always determines the goal of economic development coupled with environmental protection. Therefore, the Company wishes to coordinate with the Association in specific activities that contribute to protecting the environment and combating climate change in Vietnam. Above all, VACO is also very interested in the field of “Environmental audit, greenhouse gas inventory” and looks forward to the Association’s support in this field.

AWATEN and VACO signed a memorandum of principles for cooperation 

At the meeting, the two parties also signed “a memorandum of principles for cooperation”. This is a premise for the two parties to also exchange experiences, opportunities for cooperation and communication in the field of environmental protection and response to climate change, especially implementing Vietnam’s net zero emissions target.
