Facing the complicated situation of the COVID-19 epidemic in the city. In Ho Chi Minh City, many volunteer activities have been implemented by organizations and individuals to help and share some of the difficulties with vulnerable people who are greatly affected by the epidemic.
"0 VND Mini Supermarket" is an initiative jointly implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, the High Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Workers Support Center (YEAC), the Ho Chi Minh City Women Business Association (Hawee), and Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ).
"0 VND Mini Supermarket" provides more than 60 types of necessities, food, and medical supplies through humane and meaningful sales. The items brought to the supermarket by the organizing committee have been selected for quality and ensure food safety and hygiene, meeting the essential needs of local people.
With the desire to contribute a small part to this humanitarian activity, on August 4, 2021, the VACO Board of Directors contributed an amount of 20 million VND to this program through the Ho Chi Minh City Women Business Association. Hopefully, there will continue to be many VND supermarkets or other volunteer programs in Ho Chi Minh City to share difficulties with working classes and those facing difficulties, so that the people in Ho Chi Minh City firmly believe that they will unify and gradually repel the epidemic.
